On Tuesday, March 18, 2025, detectives from the Milton Police Department, in collaboration with the Walpole and Quincy Police Departments, executed a search warrant on a vehicle as part of an ongoing investigation into a recent armed home invasion. The home invasion occurred the previous night, and resulted in the arrest of Gilad Cohen, 31, of Newton, Ma.
During the execution of the search warrant, investigators recovered a firearm, ammunition, and a large quantity of illegal narcotics.
As a result of this, additional firearm and trafficking of narcotics charges will be sought against Cohen, in addition to the previous Armed Home Invasion charge.
The department acknowledges the great effort and teamwork by all officers and detectives involved.
