Earlier this year, the MBTA conducted a sound study and a sound survey for noise emanating from the Readville Yard. As part of the study, the MBTA installed four devices to measure noise to help record the noise and identify the source. The results of the study and the survey are currently being analyzed.
While the survey period has ended, the Town has received some questions regarding noise impacting Milton due to the Readville Yard.
