Clapp Street and Sidewalk Reconstruction

The Town of Milton has completed a potential design for the Street and Sidewalk Reconstruction Project for Clapp Street. The design aims at improving pedestrian mobility, drainage and traffic safety on the roadway. The project has been awarded to I.W. Harding Construction Company and it is scheduled to begin on Thursday September 5th, 2024. 

Construction Hours: Crews will be on site from 7am - 5pm Monday through Thursday with an optional make up work day scheduled for Fridays. 

This work shall not affect trash pick up or emergency vehicles access. 

 Homeowners should not park on the roadway during construction. 

The scope of work includes but is not limited to ADA compliant wheel chair ramps and sidewalk on at least one side of the road, additional sidewalk crossings, and improvements to street drain. The road will be paved by a different contractor at a later date.
