Mission
Our mission is to achieve the highest level of wellness for all Milton residents by adopting reasonable health regulations, by providing preventative health programming and by preparing and planning for public health emergencies.
Free Recovery Coach Services for Milton residents offered by Riverside Community Care
Are you in recovery or thinking about starting your recovery journey from substance use? The Milton Health Department in collaboration with the Health Department’s in Dedham, Norwood, Walpole and Wellesley is offering a Recovery Coach Program to support you — at no cost and regardless of your insurance status.
Recovery Coaches are trained peer professionals with lived experience in substance use recovery. They understand the journey firsthand and are here to walk alongside you — offering encouragement, motivation, and non-judgmental support.
Using a person-centered, strengths-based approach, Recovery Coaches empower you to take the lead in your own recovery. Together, you’ll create a personalized Recovery Wellness Plan focused on your goals — whether it’s connecting to peer support groups like AA, NA, SMART Recovery, or finding access to healthcare, housing, or financial resources such as SNAP and transitional assistance.
Recovery Coaches can also help you navigate support systems such as DCF, family services, drug court, or probation.
Take the next step in your recovery — you're not alone. We're here to help.
Anyone is welcome to refer to this service including the individual seeking services. Questions can be sent directly to: NC-8@riversidecc.org
