Ongoing Development Projects
This page describes development projects ongoing in the Town. Projects have proceeded under various land use pathways, including utilizing M.G.L. Chapter 40B or through local zoning changes. Please see below for additional information about each of these projects.
40B Projects
In recent years, the Town of Milton's Board of Appeals has issued Comprehensive Permits (under M.G.L. c. 40B) for 8 projects. 1 project is complete, 5 are under construction, 1 is under appeal at MassDEP, and 1 has yet to submit a building permit application.
Ice House on the Parkway
- Status: Complete and units are actively being marketed
- Units: 52 home ownership units (13 affordable)

The Truslow Residences
- Status: Under construction with occupancy expected in Spring / Summer 2026
- Units: 20 rental units (5 affordable)

- Status: Received Comprehensive Permit; under appeal
- Milton Conservation Commission denied an Order of Conditions for this project; MassDEP issued a Superseding Order of Conditions approving the project; the Milton Conservation Commission subsequently appealed the Superseding Order to the Office of Appeals and Dispute Resolution
- Units: 116 rental units (29 affordable)
