The deadline to opt-out for FY2026 (July 1st, 2025 to June 30th, 2026) has passed. All trash bills received after July 1st, 2025 are valid.
How to Opt Out:
To opt out for the July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 billing period:
Please print and complete the form below and here: Opt Out Form.
Tape the completed form to the inside of the lid of your town-issued cart and return it to the DPW yard front office at 629 Randolph Avenue, weekdays between 8:30am - 3:00pm BEFORE June 30, 2026. Please check in with office admin staff at Building A when dropping off.
Please ensure the interior of your cart is empty, clean and dry before returning, and leave it in the parking area just in front of the main office. If you are unable to transport the cart to 629 Randolph Avenue, call 617-898-4900. If you don't have access to a printer, please hand write the required information and follow the instructions above. Please print clearly. Thanks!
